Satya Ranjan College, Kalain has been provincialised in pursuance of the “Assam Venture Educational Institution (Provincialisation of Services) Act, 2011 and Amended in 2012 in respect of Degree Colleges of Assam. The College has been enlisted in the Serial number of 190 in the list of total 295 Provincialised Colleges of Assam uploaded in the official website of Directorate of Higher Education Assam (LINK GIVEN BELOW)

AFFILIATION: The Satya Ranjan College, Kalain is affiliated to Assam University Silchar, since the year 1994-95. The college is permitted to continue TDC (B.A-General course) Part-I, II, III with the subjects viz- English, Bengali, Economics, Political Science, History, Philosophy and Manipuri from 1994 and BA (Hons.) course in Bengali, Economis, Political Science and BA General Course in Arabic from the year 1995.
