The Right to Information Act, 2005 has been enacted by the Parliament and has come into force from 15 June, 2005. This Act provides for right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority. As part of the RTI objective, Satya Ranjan College, Kalain has also established the RTI Cell so that students, citizens and stakeholders can access RTI related information/disclosures. The Public Information Officer (PIO) and Assistant Public Information Officers (APIO) has been assigned to run the cell. The citizens can have access to any information regarding the college permissible under the RTI act -2005 by applying in the prescribed proforma & by depositing the requisite fee. In this way, by providing greater access to our office, we guarantee that the general public will have more access of informations. The following officers have been designated as the Public Information Officer (PIO), Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO) and the Appellate Authority of Satya Ranjan College, Kalain for the session 2022-23.
